About The program
The Domestic Abuse Program (Benase Equay Wakaigan) provides compassionate, confidential support and advocacy services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crisis situations. The program offers a 24/7 crisis line, emergency shelter services, legal advocacy, restraining order assistance, crisis intervention, and referrals to additional community resources. Services are designed to help victims and their children find safety, stability, and healing through culturally focused support, educational programs, support groups, financial and budgeting assistance, and coordinated response services.
