High School Services

About High School Services

The Education Department is committed to supporting Lac du Flambeau Tribal Member high school students through a variety of academic and college preparation services. These programs are designed to help students succeed in high school, prepare for higher education opportunities, and reduce financial barriers along the way.

Available Services:

American College Testing (ACT) Fee Funding

Enrolled Lac du Flambeau Tribal Member high school students are eligible to have one ACT fee paid for per academic year by the Education Department.

Advanced Placement (AP) Test Fee Funding

Enrolled Lac du Flambeau Tribal Member high school students are eligible to have their AP test fee(s) paid for by the Education Department.

High School Graduation Incentive

Lac du Flambeau high school graduates are eligible to receive an incentive upon graduation (if available). Incentives are determined by the Education Department and may vary from year to year. 

College Admissions Application or Test Fee Funding

Enrolled Lac du Flambeau Tribal Member are eligible to have one college admissions application fee or test fee up to $500.00 paid for per (fiscal) year by the Education Department.

College Admissions Application Fee Funding through Johnson O’Malley Program

Through the Lac du Flambeau Tribe’s Johnson O’Malley Program, high school students are eligible to receive up to $150.00 per (fiscal) year to assist with college admissions application fees.  Students must be eligible for JOM services.  Please see Johnson O’Malley eligibility criteria for further information.

College Visit

Through the Lac du Flambeau Tribe’s Johnson O’Malley Program, high school students are eligible to receive up to $250.00 per (fiscal) year towards the cost of a college visit.  Funding will support registration, gas and lodging expenses only.
